Meet the Co- Founders

Hi! We are so glad you are here. We are sisters (yes we are twins) who had a dream of working together. We started Salt + Pine in 2018 while working in other careers. In the beginning we were storing inventory in our basements and staging properties on nights and weekends. We have now grown into a 4000 sq ft warehouse and we get to work together every day growing our company… pinch us!

Kristen Brown

With a background as a nurse practitioner, I’ve always had a passion for helping others—something that naturally extended into my love for home design and decor. My journey into staging began when I sold my first home and discovered just how much I loved preparing a space to shine. That passion led me to create Salt + Pine with my sister Amy, where we blend modern, organic, and neutral aesthetics to transform homes and make lasting impressions.

When I’m not bringing homes to life, you’ll find me outdoors, enjoying a great book with a glass of red wine, or cheering on my kids at baseball games, swim meets, and dance performances. Home is where the heart is, and for me, it’s all about creating beautiful, inviting spaces that tell a story.

Amy Keeley

Hi! I am so glad you are here and following our journey. I am a wife and mom to 2 kids, a girl who is 12 years old and a boy who is 10 years old as well as a 4 year old rescue dog named Teddy. My family loves traveling and everything soccer.

I am a former educator, spending almost 20 years in the education field. While I loved my students I was ready for a change. Design was actually not something I have always had a passion for. It started when my husband and I sold our first home and built our current home. When selling our home I loved purging items and getting the property market ready. I “staged” my home without really knowing what I doing.

During this process I was also designing our new home. I was immersing myself in the decor/design world trying to figure out what I wanted our next home to feel like. It was during this time that Kristen had the brilliant idea we should start a staging company. We never looked back.

I truly love what I do and I am so fulfilled curating spaces for our clients that evoke emotional (and monetary) responses from potential buyers.
